About the question tag uses, mark the alternative that presents the correct way to form these sentences.

  • A Use the auxiliary verb or “be” verb from the main clause. If there’s no auxiliary verb, use do/does/did.
  • B Identify the object in the active sentence and turn the object into the subject.
  • C Add the verb “to be” in the correct tense and include the past participle of the main verb.
  • D Add the agent (optional) and use “by + agent”.
  • E Use this structure: [Subject] + verb “to be” (in correct tense) + past participle + (optional: “by + agent”).
